Challenge
Industrial fleets generate massive volumes of telemetry data from connected devices, Battery Management Systems (BMS), scrubbers, forklifts, golf carts, and other equipment operating across multiple locations.
The client faced challenges managing large-scale streaming data arriving continuously from multiple Kafka topics. The data contained nested JSON structures, duplicate records, inconsistent schemas, and device-specific formats that made real-time processing and analysis difficult.
Without a centralized system, operational teams struggled to monitor equipment health, battery performance, alarms, utilization, and fleet activity. Important insights were scattered across multiple systems, limiting visibility into equipment performance and operational efficiency.
The client needed a scalable platform capable of ingesting, processing, storing, and visualizing real-time IoT data while providing actionable insights through an intuitive dashboard experience.
The biggest challenge was building a high-performance architecture capable of handling continuous data streams, eliminating duplicate records, and transforming complex IoT datasets into meaningful business intelligence.
